About the Artist:

Haeley Kyong is an abstract geometric artist works, and her works feature abstract paintings and a wall-mounted 3D work that offer a meditation on color and form. In developing her style, Kyong drew inspiration from shapes and forms seen in everyday life, gradually distilling their qualities through basic geometric shapes and color harmony. Her works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in museums, galleries, and public venues throughout the nation. This includes the Union Station in Los Angles, the Jacksonville International Airport, Jacksonville, Florida; Delaware Contemporary in Wilmington, DE. Haeley Kyong was selected as an “inspirational resource” by the curators of the Carol Shen Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. Kyong attended Parsons New School, NY, and received her BFA in painting from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. Kyong holds an M.Ed and an MA in Applied Linguistics from Columbia University, NY.
