New Members of the Heritage Circle Recognized at Annual Donor Dinner
The 20th Annual Donor Recognition Dinner was held on April 27 in Steinman Hall following a reception in the Gallery Café. Board Chair Richard A. Minnich extended a warm welcome and sincere appreciation to more than one hundred twenty of the Manor's generous supporters who attended the dinner.
Following a reception and three-course dinner catered and served by the Manor's dietary services department, new members of the Heritage Circle and those who achieved a new gift level were honored for their loyal and generous support. All honorees received a piece of pottery made by Lititz artisan Steve de Perrot who designed the color pallet and pattern of the pottery specifically for Moravian Manor's donor recognition program.
The Heritage Circle consists of the Manor's most generous donors who have made a one-time gift or cumulative gifts of $10,000 or more in support of the Manor's ministry. The gift levels are named in honor of the visionary and courageous individuals who served on the founding board or who were instrumental in the planning or early development of Moravian Manor.
New members of the Heritage Circle are Mr. and Mrs. Richard G. Stauffer, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald G. Tweed, Mr. and Mrs. Carl B. Witwer, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stoudt. New members of the Paul W. McCloud Benefactors level are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Van Gelder and the Foster Fund, Eastern District. Reaching the newly named and prestigious John George Klein Benefactor level are Mr. J. Robert Hess and the Eastern District of the Moravian Church, Northern Provence.

New Benefactor Level Announced for the
Heritage Circle
Moravian Manor is pleased to announce the addition of the John George Klein Benefactor gift level to the Heritage Circle.
The Heritage Circle was established in the early ‘90s to honor Moravian Manor’s donors who have given one-time or cumulative gifts of $10,000 or more to the Manor’s senior care ministry. The Heritage Circle originally consisted of five benefactor levels, each named for a philanthropic individual whose gifts, talents, and time have been instrumental in the founding and subsequent development of the Manor.
John George Klein owned a 491-acre farm, which he gave to the Moravian Church in 1756, and it became the settlement of Lititz. In the early 1970s, the Lititz Moravian Congregation donated a 26-acre parcel of what had been Klein’s farmland to Moravian Manor – the site on which the Manor was built.
The Klein Benefactor level is reserved to honor our abundantly generous friends who have attained a gift level of $400,000 or more. New members of the Heritage Circle and members who have reached a new benefactor level will be recognized at the annual Donor Recognition Dinner on April 27, 2012.
