ABOUT LITITZ, PA

The town of Lititz affords residents small-town charm and an extremely rich history. Lititz has a variety of specialty shops and the popular Lancaster outlets are located nearby. The area provides numerous fine dining establishments and casual restaurants. The Lititz Community Center offers an indoor swimming pool and language, dance, and art classes and other programs. Cultural events and attractions include summer festivals, old fashion community days, garden tours, and theater productions at the high school.

Lititz was established in 1756 by the Moravian Church as an exclusive religious community until 1855, when the town welcomed people of all religious creeds. The town played an active role in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and industrial revolution, and served as an early musical, educational, and commercial hub.
